Our Blues Story
More Than Just a Radio Station
BluesCluster was born from a late-night session in a small Moroccan town, fueled by a single question: Where can we find the soul of the blues without the noise of the mainstream? We realized that the most authentic blues wasn't on the charts; it was in the stories of struggle, redemption, and the raw power of a single guitar string.
We built this platform to be a bridge between the Delta and the world. From the deep traditions of Chicago to the emerging voices across the globe, BluesCluster is a 24/7 sanctuary for those who understand that the blues isn't just a genre—it's a way of life.
"We don't just play the blues; we keep the fire burning for the next generation."

The Crossroads Legend
Legend says Robert Johnson met the devil at a Mississippi crossroads at midnight to trade his soul for mastery of the guitar. This story became the most famous myth in blues history.
Why is it called "The Blues"?
The term likely comes from "blue devils," an old expression for intense sadness or depression. In the 19th century, it evolved to describe the melancholic music of the Deep South.
Chicago's Electric Revolution
When bluesmen moved North during the Great Migration, they found acoustic guitars were too quiet for noisy Chicago clubs. Muddy Waters was a pioneer in plugging in and going electric.
Lucille's Story
B.B. King named his guitar "Lucille" after a woman who caused a fight in a club that nearly burned down. He risked his life to save his guitar from the fire.
The Mother of Blues
Ma Rainey is known as the "Mother of the Blues." She was one of the first professional African-American blues singers and the first to record.
12-Bar Structure
The 12-bar blues is one of the most prominent chord progressions in popular music. It's the foundation of rock and roll, jazz, and soul.
